Davallia fejeensis / Rabbit’s foot fern
Many years ago I tried to grow a fern and what with low light issues and a cat who enjoyed snacking on green growing things, it was a disaster. When I saw this fern at the shop I just couldn’t resist, however. The furry little creeping stem part (a rhizome? I still need to do research on this plant) are where it gets its common name. So far I haven’t killed it, though I did have a week where life was hectic and I forgot to water it, and lost a few fronds. It seems to enjoy being misted regularly.
