Today’s plant is the Moneyplant, in the white plant pot. (the plant in the tomato can is a spider plant) Pilea peperomioides also known as Chinese money plant. This plant was so cute I just had to bring it home, even though I know nothing about growing them! As you can see, there is a little mottling on some of the leaves – I think this is a combo of too low light and not the watering pattern it prefers. I’ve since purchased a plant light and have been remembering to check it for being moist enough, and it seems to be perking up. I will have to do an update in the spring – fingers crossed for a good report!
