The Witching Hour Oracle by Cherie Gerhardt

This oracle deck is built around the cycles of the moon and the different moons throughout the course of a year.  It is designed in a way that works well with those following a neo-pagan path.

The deck comes in a sturdy box with a small book.  The book goes over the 13 moons, in their waxing, full and waning phases (corresponding with Maiden, Mother, and Crone).  Included are a couple of spreads.

There is a little information for each of the moons (some of the moons are Wolf, Ice, Crow, Blue).

Each card has a keyword, and a little bit about how that moon/phase relates with that card.  Additionally, each card comes with information about what it means in a divinatory manner.  “Drawing the ___ Card”.

The artwork is quite lovely and the people represented are diverse.  We can see people of various ages, genders, and body types represented.  Refreshing to see!

The Winter Waite glitter edition by James Battersby and Christine Aguiar

This is a traditional Waite deck that has been slightly altered to incorporate winter themes, such as snow, red & green colors, elves, candy, holly and mistletoe.  It is called the glitter edition because each card is delightfully glittered and coated with a clear protective coat so the glitter doesn’t come off.

It is hard to capture the glitter effect on camera.  The deck does not come with a booklet, but the creator has digital materials available for download.

They have a delightful variety of decks they have produced.  I am unsure of the availability of each of these decks at any given time – they’re independently produced in Ireland, so check out their website for what is on offer. I am pleased with the quality.  You should be able to get many years use out of them (and they are easy to shuffle as well.)

I’ve not been updating here for quite some time.  The creative process takes time to percolate and fill the cup.  You can look forward to more regular posts, both blog articles and card readings.  I am also developing a resources section which one may find useful.  For now there are sub-categories for Divination tools; Library; Altar tools; Potions and brews; Clothing; and Growing Things.  I may add more in the future (craft supplies is suddenly coming to mind).

I’ve had decades to acquire, use, discard, practice, re-acquire, re-purpose, learn and grow.  It will take me quite a while to flesh out these resource pages.  As I mention on each of the sections, I do participate in Amazon Affiliates – but no one is ever expected to use those links to acquire items they are interested in.  I appreciate it whole-heartedly when you do!  While people can run businesses and websites on shoe-strings, I chose a platform that does incur hundreds of dollars in basic costs per year.  I prefer having more direct personal control over my site and my content.  Every little bit helps off-set that.  Thank you in advance for any links clicks & purchases made!

I have been updating my Etsy shop.

The digital download offerings have been expanded. You will find alphabets, journal/study guides for card readings, planners for holiday rituals, blank astrology charts, eye exercises, decorative/informative pages for journals/BOS.  A little bit of a lot of things.  And more to come!  It just takes time to sketch, ink & sometimes color the hard copies, and get them ready for listing.

I have added tarot & oracle readings.  ( Witches Wheel Year Ahead spread for 2022 is now available – get yours sooner rather than later if you would like this useful set of readings, as I am only able to fit in a small number each fall.)

Also, customers in the US can now purchase physical items.  The shipping situation seems to have stabilized, so while transit times are out of my control, at least I feel confident that customers will receive their purchases!  You will find pentacles, aromatherapy/dream pillows, jewelry, needlework supplies, amulets, etc.
