Botanical Inspirations deck review

I simply adore this deck.  As a person who loves flowers, every single card is delightful! The deck comes in a nice sturdy box with a pull-ribbon to easily remove your cards.  You get not only the cards and a guidebook (99 pages), but a trifold cheat sheet of the Language of Flowers.

Each card comes with the flower name and the scientific name, the symbolism, and a quote, printed on it.

The guidebook gives you a lot of interesting information about each flower – history, literature, lore, legend, religion are just some possibilities of what may be included with each one.  Additionally, each card has an inspirational message.

example, Honeysuckle “Bring your best self to the relationships that are the closest to your heart. Even the well-established bonds of affection still need mindful tending to thrive. Thoughtfulness, support and kind words go a long way toward maintaining a happy home life.”

Celestial Tarot deck review

I purchased this deck to use in expanding my knowledge of astrology.

It comes with a 47 page “little white book” that is absolutely packed with information. The artwork is colorful, though muted.  Every card has a lot of symbolism included in the imagery to help you remember what is going on.  There are tables at the beginning of both the Majors and Minors that give you at a glance what the cards entail.  Example, for the Majors, each card has an elemental symbol, astrological ruler, astrological correspondence, and Hebrew letter.  For the Minors, the astrological / harmonic mode, the traditional tarot placement (wands / fire, pentacles / earth) and the associated constellation, the decanate, and the ruler of the decan.

Underpinning the 78 cards of Celestial Tarot are the ancient traditions of astrology, astronomy, and mythology.

Major arcana are represented by the twelve zodiacal constellations & the ten planets of contemporary astrology with each minor suit representing one of the four astrological elements.

In the Minor arcana we encounter the extra-zodiacal constellations.

The court cards include the Princesses which personify a season while the Prince, Queen & King embody the mutable, fixed and cardinal signs of each element.

Easy-shuffling deck with enough information in the guide book to be useful for divination as well as serving as a direction to explore for further / deeper studies.

Forest Fae deck review

This is a cute little oracle deck.  The mushroom back on the cards is perfect!

Whether you want to use it for journalling or other activity prompts, or as a daily message to ponder, the ideas on the cards are insightful and the artwork is delightful.

Eight Coins’ Tattoo Tarot deck review

The cards feature art forms and iconic imagery from both tattoo and tarot traditions.

This deck comes in a sturdy box and a substantial 187 page guide book.  Included in the guidebook are not only the expected card meanings but also some interesting tidbits about the art techniques used as well as the tattoo influence.

The colors are vibrant and the cardstock allows for riffle shuffling.  The guidebook includes “The Eight Coins Rose Tattoo Spread”.

Like the blooming rose with inner and outer petals, this Rose Spread was designed to consider both your internal feelings and the external, objective realities about a situation.
